Performance Lab collaborates with these mentors in creating a safe and productive learning space for the students.

Toff De Venecia is a Broadway World-nominated director who has worked on acclaimed productions by the Ateneo Blue Repertory, as well as groundbreaking pieces by his own company, The Sandbox Collective. His highly acclaimed creation, No Filter has gained a very popular following, and has engendered a love for the stage among millennials. He serves on the board of 9 Works Theatrical and is an editor and columnist for Philippine Star’s youth section, Young Star. Now a congressman, he is championing the relevance of art in influencing a society.

Cara Barredo has been a force to reckon with ever since she was eight. This award winning gem has performed as the lead in countless productions, among these is C.S. Lewis’ The Horse and His Boy.
Sari Estrada is a graduate of the University of the Philippines Film Institute. Her film Asan si Lolo Mê? was nominated in the Short Film category of the 37th Gawad Urian Awards and won Best Short Feature in the 2014 Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival. Sari, also an actress, has performed in productions by Teatro Baguntao, Teatro/kolektibo, and Dulaang UP.

Jam Pascual is a creative writing graduate of the Ateneo de Manila University and a regular columnist for Philippine Star’s youth section, Young Star. His works have been published by various publications including Heights, Ateneo’s official literary publication. He has been making a name in the small spoken word poetry scene of Manila. Jam also takes his poetry to musical heights as the lead vocalist of the band, Imelda.
As a core member of Silly People’s Improv Theater (SPIT), Kenneth Keng has been a part of hundreds of improv theater performances. He has also appeared on stage for plays and musicals, including ones produced by the Ateneo Blue Repertory.

As a dance scholar at DLS-CSB, Matt Barbers became greatly involved in dance and theater productions. He also dabbled in modeling and film, and even co-starred in an international award-wining film. Upon graduating, he taught performing arts classes at Performance Lab. He is part of productions by Repertory Philippines, the most recent of which is Hansel and Gretel.
Cess Dalmas made her first full-length film and screened it in select institutions in Manila before graduating from the Ateneo de Manila University. She studied at Mowelfund Film Institute and made small-scale films and ads, some of which earned her awards. Like most of the other mentors, she explored drama through the collaboration between UK's Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and PETA.
